What Is a Armed forces Unit Identification Code?

A military unit of measurement identification lawmaking, or UIC, is an alphanumeric, 6-digit code that identifies agile military units. The unit identification code is unique to each unit. Every active, reserve and National Guard military unit of measurement is assigned a unit identification code.
